Founded in the 1980s by Miles Milling under the name Milling International Marketing, MIM was built on five core principles: Quality service, fast nationwide delivery, a wide product range, competitive pricing, and honest, expert advice.
By staying true to these values, Miles grew MIM from a small operation into a trusted national supplier with three depots in Manchester, Stirling, and Windsor, serving everyone from independent owner-operators to major plant hire groups and OEMs.
Following Miles’s passing in 2005, he left the business in capable hands. Managing Director Duncan Wood, who joined MIM over 30 years ago as a young salesman, continues to lead the company forward—remaining true to its family-run roots and original mission.
